About corruptible offerings: a possible offering of flowersat the dolmen of Milano (Barcarrota, Badajoz)
Abstract
Pollen analysis contained in a ceramic vessel found in the megalithic tomb of Milano, can hypothesize an offering of wild flowers of the species Muscari neglectum deposited at the entrance to the chamber. An offering of perishable content without economic value, we do not know if it was foundational character or not, so that could be the result of an act of emotional character not necessarily structured. Although wreaths have been considered as elements that must be deposited regularly in burials from the Neolithic and Chalcolithic, as in other times, rarely has been documented empirically and in their proper context valued.
