El epistolario inédito de Tomás Bretón a Isaac Albéniz (1890-1908): nuevos documentos sobre la música española en torno al 98
Abstract
Presentamos la correspondencia inédita enviada por Tomás Bretón a Isaac Albéniz en el periodo 1890-1908, conservada en el legado Albéniz de la Biblioteca de Catalunya. En este epistolario se muestran con claridad las opiniones de Bretón sobre la Opera nacional y la música sinfónica, contribuyendo así a clarificar algunas cuestiones básicas sobre la ideología y la creación musical española de fines del XIX.
