Ernesto Halffter en su etapa de formación. Amistad y creación compartida con Lorca, Alberti y Dalí
Abstract
This article approaches the figure of Ernesto Halffter during his formative period and his early years as a composer, fundamentally those of the 1920s. It also establishes his relationship with the Junta de Ampliación de Estudios (JAE) and the influence of its dependent organisms, especially the Residencia de Estudiantes, on his musical training and evolution as a self-taught composer. Ernesto Halffter’s friendships and collaboration with Federico García Lorca, Rafael Alberti and Salvador Dalí at this institution will also be explored.
