Aspectos estéticos del Neoclasicismo musical en la obra de Ernesto Halffter
Abstract
Ernesto Halffter’s output is representative of the idea of the conciliation between tradition and modernity associated with Spanish music of the 1920s and 1930s.A study of its reception, and the relationship between criticism and philosophical and aesthetic thought, will help to establish a possible definition of the concept of musical Neoclassicism in Spain during the first half of the twentieth century.
