El epistolario Albéniz-Malats. El estreno de "Iberia" en España
Abstract
“As you know, this work, this Iberia of my sins, is composed both for and because of you, and that the memory of the affectionate friend I have in you and, especially, the memory of the wonderful artist you are, have inspired these pages…”.These words Albéniz wrote to Malats can be used to summarise the content of this correspondence, with Iberia as the central theme, in which the composer’s creative processes and the artistic stimulus of the performer form the thematic background to three years of artistic explosion in both their lives.
