Inventario de la lucidez: Ramón Barce (1928-2008)
Abstract
This article is both a tribute to the composer Ramón Barce (Madrid, 1928-2008) and a selective examination of various aspects of his life and work, with the aim of building up a more complete image of his artistic and organizational contribution to music. In this sense, the composer cannot only be seen as a pioneer of the avante-garde during the 1950s and 1960s, but a critical, original, independent, active and politically assertive figure of the democratic Transition, an issue treated very superficially in the musical terrain.
