Arqueología virtual de manuscritos. Tecnología digital avanzada aplicada al estudio de manuscritos medievales
Abstract
Nowadays digital technologies become essential tools for medieval music studies. The research group El Canto llano en la época de la polifonía, of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, in collaboration with DIAMM (Digital Image Archive of Medieval Music), is working out a project whose main goal is the digitalization of the Hispanic medieval music manuscripts. Thanks to this project, new detailed information about Spanish sources is now available, it allows the development of further studies with new perspectives. The article reports the first stage of the project, the list of sources already digitized, the images availability and a technical description of the project as well as its methods and criteria.Downloads
