Artificios de la autenticidad
Abstract
The author of this text analyses a double conception of Identity, deeply rooted in popular and in scientifical and philosophical traditions of knowledge, such as identity as innate and identity as a performative and progressive work. Deepening into various of these traditions he finds how the concept of performative identity has been essential in cultural anthropology, in constructivists social theories and even in feminist and queer studies. Also the Arts have exposed clearly how there is a contradiction of realities in which essential identity and creative and constructive identity are united in a superior phenomenon in theatre, poetry or even ideological theory. Women’ s expression is also deeply linked with this union of the contraries, as it is also communication theory, which explains the process of meaning as a difference which sets a continuity. From these rich points of view the author considers how performative discourse has a deeply rooted strength which can be better analysed and identified if we have in mind its whole nature and modes of activity.Downloads
