Contemporary Photographic Practices in Digital Culture: towards a Performative Paradigm
Abstract
Throughout this article, the notion of performativity applied to the contemporary visual communication environment will be reviewed. Performativity is proposed as a possible paradigm of analysis of the images circulating in social networks that can enable a greater understanding of the interactions and contemporary photographic practices of digital culture.
