Social-imaginary construction of women in journalism literary criticism: results of cultural production of the magazine of books in Mercurio journal from Santiago de Chile
Abstract
This paper presents the results of a research about the social-imaginary construction of women in the literary criticism of the Books Review section in the newspaper El Mercurio of Santiago de Chile during the period between the years 2002-2003. It contains also a description of some central theoretical and conceptual aspects of the research focused on enriching sociocritic view on relations of power exercised by the press in the field of cultural production through social imaginary construction.Downloads
