Castile Crown ordinary justice administration: Soria´s jurisdictional spaces in the 18th century second half
Abstract
This paper offers a jurisdictional division overview of the ancient Soria´s province territory, by accounting the jurisdictions which was composed of, their owners and the officers on their charge. By using the Ensenada´s Cadastre the territory scheme gets analyzed for the 18th century second half, as well as the different jurisdictional typologies and the bounds between them and councils. The population data contained in Aranda´s Census provides a manoral valuation over vasals number between particular jurisdictional owners and the crown. This allow to compare Soria´s jurisdictional map with other castilian provinces.
