Consideraciones sobre la novela autobiográfica en la obra de Gesualdo Bufalino
Abstract
This paper, focusing on the novels Calende greche and Argo il cieco by the Sicilian author Gesualdo Bufalino, aims at exploring the modifications that the concept of modernity brings to a genre, that of fictional autobiography, already codified in the classical novel. The revision of the constructive mechanisms of this narrative form allows us to ascertain both to what extent already established forms are respected by the author here analyzed and to what extent those forms are revised in order to open them to new dimensions of narrative expressivity.Downloads
