The expression of the future in Italian as a second language. Written texts analysis
Abstract
This paper aims to describe the way in which international university students express the future. The research is based on the analysis of written data collected by the researcher in different Italian Universities. In particular, the purpose of this article is twofold: to observe and discuss the linguistic behaviour of those learners who have studied morphology to use the future tense and the linguistic behaviour of those learners who have never studied how to use morphemes to express the future.
