Pansophismus amd Knowledge in J. A. Comenius’ "Prodromus Pansophiae". Exposition and Interpretation of his Epistemological Ideas
Abstract
This paper examines the main epistemological ideas in Comenius’ Prodromus pansophiae. First of all, it is showed the relevance and philosophical interest of Comenius work and its relation with intellectual History of his age. In a second place anthropological and metaphysical background in Comenius’ Prodromus is showed. In a third place we analyze pansophism as a Comenius’ metaphysical and epistemological achievement. Finally, we conclude with a consideration on the methodical proposal showed in Prodromus.Downloads
