Abstract

This paper is a revision of an article published in the journal NPG. It was written from a workshop held in a service of gerontology, with people with Alzheimer’s disease at an advanced stage of the disease. While some strategies or the reflections they produce can sometimes be product of the specific state of advanced disease, the principles that they are described are the essence. What is at the base of the accompaniment during creation is built since the meeting with the person, not by opposing to their symptoms or disorders. This is, without any preconceived recipe, deceit or cunning, to invite him to “create” since his initial potential; allowing him putting into “play” his uniqueness as a self, develop or rebuild their link with the world. In forming a new development of language, in the broadest sense, the achievements plastic allow each person to recreate a “formal”, original vocabulary, a verb-image that acts.
