Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to approach the plasticity of the trace in the process of inscription traversed by translation. Asking: what translation is school transmission or what are the inter-writings that we carry out? I situate this problematic from an experience as a teacher of Art Education in the educational practice belonging to the second year of Basic Secondary Education, in the context of La Matanza, Gran Buenos Aires, pre-pandemia. Why and when can the trace be subjectivating? How do we re-inscribe ourselves through translation in painting-writing? To address these questions I base myself on the works of Sigmund Freud (1992b [1924]) The Wonderful Block, and his text If Moses was an Egyptian... (1992c [1939]), with certain relations to the Project of Psychology (1992a [1895]), and then delve into the work of Jacques Derrida (2005) Truth in Painting, and the work of Umberto Eco (2008) Say much the same thing. In order to rethink writing and the co-construction of a trace from the complexity of praxis of translations-interpretations.
