Abstract

The use of music in confluence with puppetry can be a facilitating tool for the art therapy bond and, at the same time, contribute to the development of creativity from an empowered place. For this reason, both elements (music and puppetry) play a decisive role in this art-therapeutic experience carried out with a group of young people with intellectual functional diversity. From a case narrative we describe how this experience has favored the personal growth and maturation of a young girl with functional diversity through the development of the subjectivity that the creative process promotes in the being.
