Manifestations of the Informative Criterion in the Poem "Alanqaa" by Elia Abi Madhi
Abstract
This study examines the poem "Alanqaa" by Elia Abi Madhi from a modern critical perspective represented by the principles of media theory, which is concerned with the extent to which the text is characterized by expected elements versus unexpected elements and known versus unknown elements to the recipients, according to the descriptive analytical approach. The study aims to investigate the informative manifestations in the poem "Alanqaa" from the collection "Aljadawell" and to show the impact of these manifestations on the recipients of the poetry. The study concludes that the text of "Alanqaa" is highly informative and that the poet's attempt to deviate from the usual paths depended on the distant goals of the discourse, which helps the external reduction to clarify some of its features. In his text, Abu Madhi goes beyond the level of understanding and communication to the power of influence and the art of expression.
