Abstract

“Al-Fatḥ ibn Jāqān and the introduction to his anthology Qalāid al-ciqyān wa-maḥāsin alacyān”. This paper includes an annotated and commented translation into Spanish of the introduction to the anthology entitled Qalāid al-ciqyān wa-maḥāsin al-acyān “The golden necklaces ant the beautiful things of the notables”, written by the Andalusi author al-Fatḥ ibn Jāqān in the first half of the 12th century. In addition, the paper provides some insights into various aspects of this anthology, which is considered a very important source for the knowledge of the Andalusi literature of the eleventh and early twelfth centuries.
