"Los Simpson": la película, apocalipsis con final feliz
Abstract
El largometraje de animación Los Simpson: la película (2007) plantea la posibilidad de una catástrofe global y presenta diversos motivos e imágenes alusivos a mitemas apocalípticos. Nuestro trabajo pretende dar cuenta de las transformaciones experimentadas por dichos mitemas a partir del contexto desacralizado y el carácter humorístico de la película, producto y a la vez parodia de la cultura de masas.
Abstract
The full-length animated film The Simpsons Movie (2007) deals with the possibility ofa global disaster and presents different motifs and images referring to apocalyptic mythemes. This essay intends to explain the changes experienced by these mythemes considering the demystified context and humorous side of the film, which is both aproduct and a parody of mass culture.
