Abstract
This article on Soplo de corriente vital (2008) by Nicaraguan poet Esthela Calderón (b. 1970) uses ecocriticism (the study of literature in relation to the physical environment) as its theoretical framework. Calderón presents her book as a collection of ethnobotanical poems that explore the complex relationships between Central American plants and human beings.Downloads
