Poetry and Novel: Carmen Ollé's Paris
Abstract
The paper is about the importance of Camen Ollé's poetic discourse as the beginning of power seizure in the Peruvian female literary discourse through direct incursion of eroticism. With creation of this poetry, as a starting point, conflicts and transfers between poetry and narrative are examined, in part of her work, as a form of establishing her own norm which is intrinsically related to the urban experience. The topic of Parisian counter-utopia is addressed as a paradigmatic example of a discourse that moves amid different literary registers, directly related to the experience of the city, in Una muchacha bajo su paraguas. The paper insists on the relation between the centre point of the poetic voice and the close relationship between narrative and urban modernity.Downloads
