Abstract

The importance of Friedrich Nietzche is obvious on Rubén Darío’s work, both prose and verse. However the German figure is as admired as insulted. It is intended to show the presence of the philosopher in the poet through Darío’s words as well as finding a possible explanation of the contradictory attidude of this Nicaraguan man.
