Familia e identidad en la literatura cubana de los 80
Abstract
This study, a first approach towards the subject, offers a reading of the Cuban literary discourse of the so-called «novísimos», within the context of the family, to show how this is no longer an area for conservation and for the transmission of identities. The reading of some of this promotion’s literary works, which were written between 1985 and 1990, show how the family —a topos of deeply rooted tradition in Cuban culture— erves as a frame to reat the fundamental ideothematic nuclei in this discursive practice. he texts analysed here display a rupture with he deological, moral, cultural and institutional rder, and the emergence of new identities in an imaginary world in hich the family and its repertory of symbols become an important centre for the debate on nation and identity.Downloads
