Abstract
The article examines the internal artistic mechanisms that Cuban theatre employs to express and build the nation, and the relationship between the situation of the theatre, the state of other art forms and the social process. The text focuses on the decades of the eighties and the nineties, and presents an extensive analysis of tendencies, works, authors, theatre groups, directors, staging, etc. It also explains the relationship between theatre and society in Cuba since its origins as a nation.Downloads
