“Una mezcla de Góngora y Cantinflas”: The construction of imaginaries on the North of Mexico in the novels Una de dos y El lenguaje del juego, by Daniel Sada
Abstract
This article proposes to analyze the construction of imaginaries around the Northern Mexico, reflected in the narrative language of the Mexican writer Daniel Sada, focusing on the representations of space, gossip and violence. The importance of studying these processes, responds to the fact that they are constituted by aesthetic and ethical-moral elements that make up an imaginary that represents, at a literary level, the region of the north of Mexico. To carry out this analysis, the research discursively analyses the novels Una de dos published in 1994 and El lenguaje del juego of the year 2012.
