Abstract

Amado Nervo's best known work, La Amada inmóvil, has been the subject of several critical editions. However, in these editions is obviated the critical reference to the extensive list of what the poet describes as "Pensamientos afines". Although, the poetry is a response to the elegy of love, the epigraphs that precede it in the above-mentioned Thoughts with a Friend relate Amado Nervo's original poetry to Theosophy, Philosophy and the occult, and, of course, to references to literary works of which death is the fundamental theme
