History of textual transmission of six stories by Tomás Carrasquilla
Abstract
This article is an advance of the results obtained in the research entitled "Previous study and critical edition of six stories by Tomás Carrasquilla", and the purpose of this section is to expose and analyze the history of textual transmission of this corpus. For the development of this article we rely on the postulates of textual criticism that contains three phases: recensio, dispositio textus and constitutio textus; that for this article only corresponds to the first of these stages, which, roughly, consists in the exhaustive search of all the publications that have been made of the stories; after which, we propose a critical evaluation of what the results lead to. This leads us, finally, to conclude that we are facing a work with a broad editorial history with particular characteristics that reflect the publishing conditions to which this corpus has been subjected.
