Presence illusion and gaze in two poems on art by Álvaro Mutis
Abstract
Studies on poetic ekphrasis have remarked the elusive nature of its representation. The article intends to confirm this assumption showing rhetoric, hermeneutic and critic resources in two poems by Colombian poet Álvaro Mutis. In order to show this, the presence of artistic sociolect, the superposition of critique and evaluation over the description and the aesthetic context that demarcates the two canvases alluded by the poems, are analyzed.Downloads
