Abstract
This article describes and analyzes how the regime of Anastasio Somoza García takes the figure and the work of Rubén Darío with an explicit political purpose for its own legitimacy. With the development of tributes held in 1941, 25 years after death of Darío and with the publication of fragments of La vida de Rubén Darío escrita por él mismo and El viaje a Nicaragua, is perceived manipulation of the poet’s work and the continuation of a dispute that starts at the moment of his very death.Downloads
