Abstract

As daughter of Spanish exiles, Angelina Muñiz Huberman will undertake a long and painful journey from her birth to adulthood in order to achieve a self-construction procedure. A cross reading of Castillos en la tierra. Seudomemorias (1995) and Molinos sin viento (2001) shows that, through memory -individual or collective-, Muñiz attempts to join the pieces to forge an identity made of fragments.
