Second Life for the Teaching of French as a Foreign Language in Academic Contexts
Abstract
In recent years, the use of Second Life as a didactic tool in foreign language teaching has rapidly gained importance. The student’s self-projection into the virtual world as an avatar offers countless benefits in language learning, though some drawbacks can also be observed. In the present paper the pros and cons of this virtual platform will be briefly analyzed, with examples illustrating its application in the FFL classroom.Downloads
