Eternamente doctores: ¿mérito o carga?
Abstract
Este artículo pretende evidenciar las dificultades a las que se han de enfrentar aquellos jóvenes que apuestan por orientar su carrera profesional hacia la inves-tigación y la docencia universitaria. En el texto se analiza el esfuerzo realizado por estos investigadores –durante el periodo doctoral y el inmediatamente posterior–, a pesar del poco crédito del que goza el trabajo investigador. Por otra parte se aborda el tema sobre la docencia. Las nuevas condiciones de ésta, derivadas de las nuevas formas de gestión, conllevan una evidente arbitrariedad por parte de las Agencias de Evaluación, siendo la ANECA la de entidad nacional. El análisis reali-zado muestra un horizonte poco halagüeño para estos recién doctorados.
Eternally PhD: merit or burden?
This article aims to show the difficulties that have to deal with young people who are committed to guide their career to research and university teaching. The text analyzes the efforts made by these researchers, during the PhD period and imme-diately after, though the small credit the researching work has. Moreover addresses the topic of teaching. The new conditions of this, arising from new forms of ma-nagement, and an apparent arbitrariness by the rating agencies, being the ANECA, the national one. The analysis shows an unflattering horizon for these newly PhD.
