Abstract

If normally a common book is wrote to be read, there are some books that cannot be read and correctly interpreted. One of these, I suppose, is the Apocalypse of John. I try to present a panoramic view on some horrible biblical figures (green horse, dragon, snake) that appear in connection to the diabolic project of destruction. In particular, following the exegetical medieval tradition, moving from Beato of Liébana, I propose some suggestions to present a dynamic and iconographical perspective on the verses: Ap 6,8, 12,3, 12,9, 13,1,13,11.
