Abstract

Starting from some motifs present in Poesie in forma di rosa, La Divina Mimesis and, above all, Petrolio, we will attend to some motifs of Pasolini’s aesthetic proposal in relation to the critique of the political. What initially appears to be a critique or semiology of society and the political is revealed, over time, as an artistic problem in which art is political and the political is artistic. This issue is nothing more than that of the form as it appears in the works of the poet.
