THE NATURAL LAW IN SAAVEDRA FAJARDO'S EMPRESAS POLITICAS (POLITICAL MAXIMS)
Abstract
The author wishes to expound the dependence that Saavedra’s political theory —as treatise for the education of the prince— still has from philosophical Aristotelism, and not just from his anthropology but also from the issue of virtues. However, even more decisive —and more operative— than this philosophical cue appears the theory of the natural law, the recognition key for the catholic dimension of his thinking.Downloads
