The author unravels some of the key political and social points of the discursive use of prophecy, in order to underline two uses of and two directions in the political propaganda of late medieval and renaissance Spain: that of the Catholic Monarchs (present in the novels of chivalry) and the epicimperial- humanistic prophetism of Charles of Habsburg.Downloads
