Abstract
El duque de Almodóvar aspiraba a un orden político regido por la libertad y ajeno a la arbitrariedad que caracterizaba el Antiguo Régimen hispánico. A propósito de sus comentarios sobre la historia, la sociedad y la política británicas, insertas en su obra Constitución e Inglaterra, es posible percibir que el modelo en el que se fija el duque de Almodóvar era, precisamente, la monarquía atemperada británica.Downloads
