LAS "CAUSAS PERDIDAS" COMO UNA TIPOLOGIA DE LA REACCION. UNA PERSPECTIVA HISPANICA, DESDE UN JACOBITISMO A LOS NEOFASCISTAS Y LOS REPUBLICANOS ESPAÑOLES
Abstract
This essay reconstructs the history of the metaphor of the «lost cause» as it appears in reactionary thought. The author studies Jacobite and post-Jacobite imagery and Spanish Carlism as examples of «lost causes.» It also reflects on the curious historical readaptation of the lost-cause tropology by the 20th century left.Downloads
