Abstract
This essay focuses on Carlist popular poetry, the Bertzo-paperak, which are too easily dismissed as another example of the reactionary popular. The Carlist movement was in any case a highly complex political phenomenon through whose popular manifestations we can understand the limits of its counterpart, liberalism.Downloads
