Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to evaluate the episodes of cultural exchange between Spain and Germany which have taken place throughout history. In order to do so, the most important instances of German cultural presence (art, philology, archaeology, Arabism, etc.) in Spain will be re-examined, namely the German influence on Spanish art, the arrival of the German printing press in Spain, etc.
