El recurso a motivos mitológicos en el teatro de la RDA
Abstract
Motifs from the past are a constant recourse in East German literature. Revisiting remarkable historical characters or events, rereading works from the literary heritage, or revising Greek mythology are three ways of returning to the past. The present contribution focuses on the use of Greek mythology, first analyzing how its elements materialize in a context which does not customarily accept such discourse, and secondly focusing on the example set by Heiner Müller's play Philoktet.Downloads
