Abstract

This paper intends to describe and reflect on some features of languages for special purposes (LSP), especially those of German, not from a purely linguistic approach but dealing with their functional explanation in depth from two points of view: the anonymous style of special languages and the economic use of language in specialized texts. A description of such features is offered according to their communicative functions both at the lexical and the syntactic levels.
