Derivative Adjectives in German and Spanish
Abstract
The process of creating derivative adjectives exists in both German and Spanish. The main aim of this project is to analyse the mechanisms of suffixes in both languages with a view to establishing how far parallels exist in the suffixes of these languages. In addition, the project aims to discuss the valence of derivative adjectives and to analyse the descriptions of suffixed adjectives in bilingual dictionaries. This will allow us to measure the deficiencies that should be overcome in this respect.Downloads
