“Niemand zeugt für den Zeugen”. Time and Memory in Paul Celan’s Poetry
Abstract
The article analyses how Paul Celan, using referenceless and antimimetic own resources of the poésie pure and the absolute poetry, develops a poetic model in which time and memory are determinant. In this new model, language does not constitute an autonomous and immanent reality; rather it is expressed in a dialogic action that leads to an extralinguistic reality. The poetic text itself configures a space of memory, raises in a place of memory that, throughout the historic sedimentations that drags language, bears witness to what happened.Downloads
