Translations into Spanish of German Intercultural Literature
Abstract
This article sets out to analyse the number and nature of translations into Spanish of Works written in German by emigrant authors from the so-called “Migrantenliteratur”, no matter where they originally came from (Turkey, Iran and Italy are the main countries where these authors came from, but there are many more). The paper aims to outline the possible Publishing issues involved and determine their characteristic features. A brief analysis will also be made of the presence of this literature in the context of the Catalan publishing industry.
