School of Legal Medicine of Madrid (III)
Abstract
In the following article, a description is made of the Museum of Medical and Forensic Anthropology, Paleopathology and Criminalistics «Prof. Reverte Coma».
Relations between the School of Legal Medicine and other organizations and departments which have common interests will also be analysed. The most relevant of these are the Department of Legal Medicine of Madrid, The National Department of Forensic Physicians, the Forensic Pathology Institute, the National Institute of Toxicology and Forensic Sciences, the General Commission of Scientific Police, the Service of Judicial Police of the Civil Guard, the Technical Departments of Provincial Police and other Consulting organizations of the Judicial Administration (the Royal Academies of National and District Medicine, the Official Physicians’ Associations and official organisms authorized to release reports).
Lastly, there is a commentary on the boom and decadence of the School of Legal Medicine.
