Abstract

Educational events are primarily social phenomena. It does not make conceiving education independently but as one of the scenarios in which the fabric of society is evident. Resulting from a rapid social change, educational systems that we know today have little to do with those of the past especially due to the extraordinary diversity and heterogeneity of the student body which is an endless source of tension. Therefore, the manner in which such diversity is present in schools (or educational centres) is not marginal. Moreover, education becomes a crucial issue and is a key indicator of the existence of a state of equal distribution between public education and collaborative private education. The following pages will address these subject-matters and their practical expression in the Basque Country.
