Ciudadanía, identidad y exclusión social de las personas con discapacidad
Abstract
Citizenship is a key concept in the sociological and political study of contemporary societies from the second half of the 20th century. This article briefly analyzes the access to the condition of citizenship, from a formal and substantive point of view, of a group potentially excluded from the spaces of participation, such as persons with disability, demonstrating the existing situations of inequality due to the structural and symbolic barriers of the social enviroment and analyzing the processes of conformation of their collective identity.Downloads
