El proceso de constitución de España en una sociedad turística
Abstract
Foreign tourism was one of the leading factors contributing to the transformation of Spain in a consumersociety. Rural migrations, urbanization, industrialization and, later, the creation of a service economy and membership in the European Union explain one of the most momentous processes of change in the history of the country. Tourism behavior among Spaniards, however, still follows some patterns that separate it from that of tourists in nearby countries. Following official statistical data, this paperstudies the transformation of Spain in a tourist society.Downloads
